Under the banner theme of “Celebrations Unite the World,” the Festival of Fun & Fraternity event on Sunday, July 10, 12-4pm, (starting after the Disability Pride Parade) will be an inclusive, festive, educational, and entertaining gathering of leading cultural and access groups with a common goal — to promote and celebrate possibilities and opportunities for people with disabilities across all areas of society. The event, free and open to the public, will be subdivided into three main categories: global, science, and family celebrations. Cultural groups such as yours will be invited—free of charge, to line booths, organized by festival theme categories, on Madison Avenue, between 24th and 26th Street, along the border of Madison Square Park, a popular and busy hub where this great city’s diverse multicultural communities gather and meet. Here’s your chance to educate and entertain visitors with informational handouts, interactive art demonstrations, and crafts activities!
