The Pensacola Historical Society Resource Center, a facility of West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. is a major archival research facility for genealogists and historians. The collection contains maps, documents and ephemera related to the history of Northwest Florida, and a collection of thousands of photographs and negatives of the area and its inhabitants from the mid-19th century to the present. Also available are Sanborn maps and architectural files on buildings in Pensacola's four historic districts. Members and University of West Florida students are admitted free, Other researchers are charged a $5.50 per day research fee.
