The Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi is a membership organization of more than 400 craftsmen. The Guild operates the Mississippi Craft Center. The mission of the Guild is to preserve, promote, market, educate and encourage the highest standard of excellence in regional crafts. The Center is a 20,000 sq. ft. contemporary building that serves as an art gallery, a museum, an educational center, an art referral agency, an economic development tool and a community center. Since the new Center opened in 2006, it has received visitors from all 50 states and 27 foreign countries. The Center is completed ADA compliant and offers classes and scholarships for those with disabilities.
