Here are some suggested pledges. Choose one or as many as you want to support.

  1. Depriving people with disabilities full access to art is just another form of
discrimination and bullying. I won't stand by and let others be bullied. I will do my
best to help make everyone feel at home, included, and able to enjoy art as much as I
do, especially if they have a disability, whether I can see it or not. www.projectaccessnyc.org
  2. Art lovers unite! Let's make all the beauty and culture of art open and reachable for
everyone who loves art, whether or not they have a disability. www.projectaccessnyc.org
  3. I’ll help out in my community, pushing my art centers and groups to do their part
and have programs and services for people with disabilities and their families. What
    will you do? www.projectaccessnyc.org
  4. All for one and one for all! My friends and I are helping to make art and culture
accessible to all, including people with disabilities. Want to join us? www.projectaccessnyc.org
  5. What does the phrase “disability is not an inability” mean to you? Learn how
incredible people with disabilities are proving the truth of this! www.projectaccessnyc.org
  6. What’s your favorite Impressionist painter? Ever wonder how a blind person
    appreciates art? www.projectaccessnyc.org
  7. Some people don’t think a blind person can “see” or appreciate art. What do you
think? To learn more, check out www.projectaccessnyc.org
  8. People care about everyone having equal access to health insurance. Now how
about equal access to all of the arts for all people, including those with disabilities?

  9. Every voice and every action counts. For my own part, I will never give up the fight
for equal access until every person—with or without a disability—is welcome in
places of art and culture all over the world. What will YOU do? www.projectaccessnyc.org
  10. I’ll help out in my community, pushing my art centers and groups to do their part
and have programs and services for people with disabilities and their families.

  11. Intention is the first step to action. So I intend to do my best to help make everyone
feel at home, included, and able to enjoy art as much as I do, especially if they have a
disability, whether or not I can see it. Join me and others who care at
