Note: when you are ready to leave the building, ask the person at the desk on the first floor to key the elevator to give access to the basement and the accessible entrance.

The Wentworth Museum, a facility of West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc., is located in the old Pensacola City Hall Building in The Pensacola Historic District. The Museum offers historical exhibits about West Florida, beginning with the first settlement attempt in 1559. Galleries on the second floor offer a variety of changing exhibits about the Civil War, textiles and clothing, and other collections and topics. The third floor contains a hands-on children's gallery offering role-playing of various colonial occupations in Spanish Pensacola, 1781-1821. Admission is free.
