The Cripple Creek Heritage Center in Cripple Creek, Colorado is a unique experience for the whole family. Learn the history of the World's Greatest Gold Camp. Learn about Zebulon Pikes, who was the first explorer to attempt to scale Pike's Peak; the early Natives of the area; how the Gold Camp came to be; how the hardy residents lived in the 1890s; and even a little about modern day gold mining. Using static and interactive displays, a visitor can spend hours enjoying our unique environment. There are three floors, serviced by an elevator. Handicapp accessible parking and restrooms are available.
