Historic Pensacola Village, a facility of West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc., is located in the midst of The Pensacola Historic District. The Village is a complex of theme museums and historic houses furnished for various periods in Pensacola's history, ranging from 1790 through 1945. Due to the historic nature of the structures, only four of the buildings are accessible without steps. We regret that due to the economy, plans to make the houses accessible (ramps & lifts) have been set back indefinitely. Because of the limited accessiblity, persons in wheelchairs and their attendants are not charged admission, although others in the party must purchase tickets. The accessible buildings are: The Museum of Commerce, The Museum of Industry, Old Christ Church, and the Tivoli Building which houses the museum store and ticket counter.
