Hello from the archaeology folks at the University of Illinois! As of 2010, we have about 18,000 boxes (cubic feet) of archaeological collections. We continue to excavate an additional 800 new boxes each year in order to fulfill our contractual obligations to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
