Tactile or Multisensory Exhibits
The Cook Gallery is the permanent exhibition space that examines Monroe County, Indiana from the early 1800s to today. We look at early life, including school and home experiences in an immersive school house and a real log cabin. Additionally, we feature technology and innovation that developed Monroe County and how these advances have touched the world.

We are currently in the development phase for the Cook Gallery to make these experiences hands on and mutisensory. It is an exciting process and we look forward to the playing with the past!
Audio Exhibits
Audio for the exhibits is another phase to be investigated with our new design and mutisensory exhibits.

We do offer the opportunity to access copies of audio files from our collection in-house and by appointment.
Transcripts
Written transcripts of some oral histories from our permanent collection are available for research in our Geneaology Library. Access to audio files from our permanent collection are available in-house and by appointment.
