AccessNYC’s Cultural Night Out January: Celebrate Renewal through Making
Event Description
Drop in anytime or come for the entire program!
Art Beyond Sight and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities invite you to join us in January for an evening of creating, crafting, and making. We’ll have several activities you can try, including origami with the Origami Therapy Association and tactile art with ABS’s own professional artist Annie Leist. Come get your hands dirty, catch up after the holidays, celebrate the new year, and channel your inner artist. Plus you’ll discover accessible ways you can learn and make throughout NYC, no matter what your skill level or ability. Get your art on!
Drop in for AccessNYC’s Cultural Night Out at the Andrew Heiskell Library after work, one Thursday each month, for an event that is part social gathering, part interactive workshop, and part NYC exploration. Each month we’ll celebrate a different arts and cultural offering. Enjoy a show of dance, theater, music, or fine arts; then join in with hands-on participation, and hear about accessible events around NYC related to that month’s theme.
