Americans with Disabilities (ADA) 25th Anniversary Celebration

The Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) at Valencia College - West Campus exists to determine and ensure reasonable and appropriate accommodations and modifications for qualified students with documented disabilities. On August 19 from 1:00-4:00 pm, we are planning a cake and ice cream social to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and welcome back our Fall OSD students. Our goal is to share information with students regarding the ADA, and the impact it has had on individuals with disabilities and work to remove the stigma that disabilities may represent. This event will be open to all Valencia Students to learn about the impact of the ADA law, and gain information about the OSD office.
